Richmond’s Ukrainian Social Club invites you to a charitable evening of classical music, poetry and dance at the “Ukrainian Evening of Invincibility” from 7pm on Friday 23rd February at St. Mary’s Church, Twickenham, TW1 3NJ.
The programme features familiar pieces by Chopin and J. S. Bach, as well as Ukrainian composers, Lysenko, Barvinsky and Hulak-Artemovsky, performed by talented Ukrainian musicians including soloists of the Royal Opera House, Songs for Ukraine and chamber choir DZVIN.CO.
Alongside a solo performance from the Stefania dance ensemble, you will be treated to an anthology of modern Ukrainian poetry, performed in English and Ukrainian.
Marking the second anniversary of full-scale war in Ukraine, join the Ukrainian community to show solidarity with those in urgent need.
